Die grossartige Rachel Harrington kommt im Oktober für ein paar Tage nach Deutschland, um ihr Album zu promoten. Ich suche für den 16-19. Oktober noch Gigs – sollte jemand Interesse haben, bitt melden.

Rachel Harrington hat mit ihrem kürzlich veröffentlichten Debutalbum “The Bootlegger’s Daughter” einigen Wirbel verursacht. Mal abgesehen von einem Top-40 Soforteinstieg in die AMA-Charts, der #15 der Freeform American Roots Charts und der #12 wichtigen US Folk-DJ List gab es auch in Europe begeisterte Reaktionen: Die englische Radio-Legende Bob Harris nannte das Album einen “sicheren Anwärter für meine Jahres-Top 10”, das deutsche Home-of-Rock Magazin schrieb: “Das kolossale Debut einer vielversprechenden Künstlerin.”, und der notorisch schwer zu beeindruckende deutsche Fach-Mailorder Glitterhouse ist ganz aus dem Häusschen: “Dies ist der Real Stuff, definitiv!”  Vielen dürfte ihr Name auch noch von ihrer Tour mit Markus Rill und ihrer Mitwirkung auf seinem letzten Album bekannt sein.

Rachel kommt im Rahmen einer kleinen Europa Tour vom 16. – 19. Oktober nach Deutschland. Begleitet wird sie dabei von dem Multi-Intrumentalisten und Mandolinen-Virtuosen Zak Borden.
